Morpheus8 RF Microneedling · Prescott, AZ
Firmer, smoother skin — from the inside out
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. Ultra-fine needles carry gentle heat beneath the surface of your skin, where it stimulates new collagen and elastin and helps remodel tissue. The result, for many patients, is skin that looks tighter, smoother and more even — without the extended surface downtime of a deep laser peel.
What Morpheus8 may help with
- Mild to moderate skin laxity on the face, jawline and neck
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scars and textural irregularities
- Enlarged-looking pores
- Crepey skin on the body — abdomen, arms, knees, thighs
Why patients choose it
- Works on many skin tones. Because the energy is delivered below the surface, Morpheus8 can be an option for patients who aren't good candidates for surface-ablating lasers. Careful settings still matter.
- Adjustable depth. Treatment depth is tailored to each area and concern.
- Short downtime. Most patients return to normal routines within a few days.
What to expect
Consultation: We review your skin, goals, health history and medications. Not everyone needs or should have RF microneedling — and we'll say so.
Treatment day: Numbing cream for 30–60 minutes, then 20–60 minutes of treatment depending on the area. You'll feel heat and pressure.
Afterward: Redness and swelling for 1–3 days, sometimes a grid-like pattern of tiny marks that fades within a week. Makeup is usually fine after 24–48 hours. Avoid sweating and strenuous activity or straining for 48–72 hours, and protect treated areas from sun exposure.
Results: Collagen builds gradually. Many patients notice improvement within a few weeks, with continued change over about three months. A series of treatments, spaced several weeks apart, is common.
Safety — our honest take
RF microneedling is effective, but it isn't trivial. The FDA has received reports of burns, scarring, fat loss and nerve injury with RF microneedling devices — usually tied to inappropriate settings or treatment by inadequately trained operators. That's why we:
- Use device settings appropriate to your skin and treatment area
- Take a full health history (including pacemakers, metal implants, pregnancy, active skin infection, and blood thinners)
- Start conservatively and adjust over your series
- Give you clear aftercare and a way to reach us if something doesn't look right
